bicycle is cool
back around 2020 or smth, at the place where my mom used to work i learned how to ride bicycle & moved on from scooter
tho it was cool, i didn't really ride much on it & eventually stopped when i no longer came to mom's place of work.
nowadays in the ever growing 2026, due to me moving cribs, i found out that i hav a bicycle my size in my crib.
and so somewhere near the end of august, i learned how to ride the bicycle. how i done it? here:
on day 1 i learned how to balance while standing on one of the pedals & then with the help of dad i balanced while rotating the pedals using legs, and then i rotated pedals & balanced on my own
on day 2 i learned how to turn the bicycle (at least a little bit), and after a lil goof of me landing onto bush because of turn radius being too large, i remember i learned that turning on low speed is easier than turning on high speed
and from there i went on bicycle ride with my family quite often, it was super fun!
up until september came, where me & dad no longer having much time to hav fun (primarily me having college & him having work), so after few days getting transported by him driving bike back and forth, he had to teach me the way to get to colleg & back from colleg
first & second day he show me the way, third day he guide me to colleg but i become the captain on way home, fourth day i become captain for the whole day (with his spectating, as if it was sum sorta exam)
and so i passed the so called exam, so from fifth day i go to & from colleg completely by myself, with the road being 5 km (so that means am going 10 km each day)
due to the happenings in my country, am getting myself into a bit of a danger in the way because of potential attacks happening, but this whole time of back & forth, gladly, nothing really happened (except for that one day where i heard the air defence shots, so i kinda just doubled my speed when going home)
and the other day, it was raining & i had to go colleg anyway, since not going there because of rain was NOT a valid excuse. due to me REALLY not wanting to use bus as method of transportation, i went with the trusty bicycle anyway & fought the mild cold wind, rain & my fears on the way there & from. it was basically the most difficult bicycle ride of my life if u couldn't tell
and also there's these plant spikes that get stuck into tire once touched, which can potentially poke it & lower the air pressure, and from wat i heard, bicycle cannot go with flat tire like that; so i gotta be bit more attentive when riding to NOT hit the spikes
despite all that, i personally think using bicycle as a means of transportation is AWESOME!!! i just like the way my legs spinning stimulate my braincells enough for me to not whirlpool into bad mood outta nowhere on the way + me legs be more strong (despite me not noticing myself becoming any fitter)
and whenever i meet classmates that i know on the way, i feel slightly cooler in those moments
so yeah if u hav a bicycle, health allows to ride it & city isn't big car road favored unlike america, go for it if u havn't already!! it doesn't waste any fuel (excluding fats), is free & quite eco frendly!
